Isoten™ Vacuum Belts

The principles of vacuum belt operation are very similar to those of a vacuum roll. Vacuum belts pull a web into intimate contact with the belt surface to greatly increase the friction forces that prevent slippage. The result is a highly effective tension device that requires almost zero wrap angle.

Webex's standard Isoten vacuum belts are designed for optimum operating flexibility and long-term performance.

• Stainless steel woven belt for more sensitive webs
• Vacuum zone width and length to suit your application
• Aluminum vacuum box frame with stainless steel top
• Anti-static, endless carrier belt with hole pattern selected to match your web and process parameters
• Rubber covered drive roll with drive shaft
• Epoxy painted take-up roll with take-up bearings
• Exhaust connection with airflow control valve and vacuum gauge

Standard options include:

• Vacuum zone width adjustment using positioner handwheel with indicator dial
• Vacuum supply system, sized to match application (using fan or regenerative blower as a vacuum source)
