Machined surfaces are available on all metal rolls manufactured by Webex

CHEVRON GROOVE (CG)

• An industry favorite for wrinkle removal
• Gentle spreading action

SPIRAL "V" GROOVE (SG)

• Industry standard for entrapped air removal
• Ideal for light webs at high speeds
• Aids in proper web tracking
• Minimizes web-to-roll slippage

MATTE FINISH (MF)

• Blasted finish reduces surface contact
• Improved traction

DIAMOND KNURL (KN)

• Knurled and then ground for diamond microgrooved surface
• Excellent for entrapped air removal
• Aids proper web tracking
• Supports sensitive webs without marking
• Provides good traction, minimizing slippage

HERRINBGONE GROOVE (HG)

• Classic wrinkle removal method
• Preferred for use with light foil applications

MICRO GROOVE (MG)

• Two fine continuous grooves from roll center to edge
• Excellent for entrapped air removal
• Aids proper web tracking
• Supports sensitive webs without marking
• Provides good traction, minimizing slippage
