Webex
can predict exactly what the heat transfer results will be prior to
manufacturing by utilizing a sophisticated computerized analysis program.
If Webex sizes and designs your roll
using our exclusive design software, your roll is unconditionally
guaranteed to perform as specified.
Each roll is designed for the optimum
balance between heat transfer, minimal pressure drop inside the
roll, correct fluid velocity, and minimum temperature rise across
the roll face. In fact, our designs process is so exact, we guarantee
temperatures to within ±1°F across the face of the roll.
Webex heat transfer rolls are available
in a wide variety of materials such as carbon steel, aluminum, stainless
steel, and alloy steel. We offer several coating and plating options
to customize your roll to fit your exact application. Call

The new line of standard ThermEx™
heat transfer rolls presented on the following pages are designed
as double-wall spiral rolls — a Webex speciality for over twenty
years. The standard design shown depicts a "straight pitch"
spiral wrap. "Gain pitch" spiral wrap rolls are also readily
available as part of a customized design solution. The exact internal
roll design is a function of the computerized design analysis.
Webex often produces heat transfer
rolls with ultra-tight tolerances of less than 100 millionths total
indicator run out. Mirror finishing with optically-perfect, polished
chrome plating is also available.
